When BLOCK71, one of Singapore’s most recognisable launchpads for global startups, introduced its new logo, the shift marked more than a visual update. It signalled a renewed belief in what they stand for. Resilience. Community. Cross-border ambition. Founder-led growth. Yet a logo alone could not hold the weight of this transformation. They needed an object to anchor this new chapter, something visitors could encounter the moment they entered the space.

They turned to us, one of their own incubatees, to create that anchor and to begin shaping the physical world of BLOCK71.

Our role was to craft a centrepiece that captured the spirit of the incubator, something that would not only reflect their new identity but give form to the ecosystem they have cultivated for more than a decade. The result is The BLOCK71 Ascend, the first piece in a larger effort to build the world of BLOCK71 for founders, partners and visitors to walk into.

The Ascend is the BLOCK71 journey made visible.

Three blocks rise and shift in a quiet, deliberate rhythm. Their motion mirrors the experience every founder knows well. The early uncertainty. The push toward momentum. The sculpture turns the invisible work of building a company into something present and felt.
